Jeannette Godoy is a first generation, Mexican American director and writer. She started her career as a choreographer where she worked in film, television and commercials. She just finished her first feature film, Diamond in The Rough, a Latina led, romantic comedy producer by Creator+. Jeannette also recently directed an episode of The Garcias for HBO Max. The family comedy was shot on location in Puerto Aventuras, Mexico and features a predominately Latinx cast.
