Born and raised in Cape Town, Shamiel Soni spent more than half his life in the film industry, working his way up to being one of South Africa’s most sought-after commercial Directors. Soni has always been inspired by great visuals, including photography, films, architecture and furniture. He stays close to trends and loves fashion.

Soni’s Director style is very much lifestyle and movement. He’s into bright colors and bold camera moves. Versatility and flexibility are some of his greatest strengths, although he is always striving for perfection.
